In Matthew 28:19-20 Christ sent us all out on a mission to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.” (NRSV) We will:

1. • Communicate God’s word to those outside our congregation and within our surrounding communities of Farmington, Farmington Hills, Livonia, Novi, and beyond.
   

1. •Seek out and relate to new arrivals and to the un-churched people in our surrounding communities.  We will understand their needs and questions and reach out to share the Good News of Christ.
   

1. •Share our facilities and resources and provide compassionate service.  We will seek opportunities to partner with, involve and engage people and organizations within the surrounding communities and the world.
   

1. •Embrace strangers and newcomers who will experience consistent hospitality in our church.  Members of the congregation will be as friendly and welcoming to newcomers and strangers as we are to one another.  Our capacity to appreciate and relate to people from other cultures and backgrounds will be increased.
   

1. •Evolve from “church-speak” into “people-speak.”  The way we present our facilities and services will relate to un-churched members of our surrounding communities who are not familiar with our traditions.
   

1. •Encourage our members to exercise leadership in civic efforts to improve the quality of life in our communities.
