A Watered Garden

All are welcome to join our mid-week Lenten program at St. John. We will be exploring the themes of A Watered Garden - Christian Worship and Earth's Ecology. This short book (under 100 pages) explores patterns of Christian worship, their deep connections to ecological wisdom, sacramental approaches to creation, and calls for a renewed relationship to the earth now itself in the need of God's healing. Each week will cover a different chapter:

February 25 - Worship and Ecology

March 4 - Water

March 11 - Seasons and Days

March 18 - Fields and Vineyards

March 25 - Earth to Earth

Copies of the book are available. Please pick them up at worship on Sunday, at the church office, or may be picked up when we meet on Wednesday.

 

We will meet at 6:00 in the MPR for soup and reflection Wednesdays, beginning February 25th through March 25th. We will be covering a chapter each week. Even if you cannot attend every Wednesday, please do not hesitate to join us.
